Shrink Decorating for Personal Care Products

Shrink decorating is favored throughout the global personal care market. Decorated shrink sleeves are used as the primary labeling for shampoos, toothpastes and cosmetics, as well as multipacks for club stores. Full-height tamper evident sleeves, printed with ingredients or UPC codes, can preclude the need for cartons, creating a “greener” package design and reducing material costs.

Shrink decorating is also used to produce tamper evident neckbands for powders, oils, and creams. Neckbands secure standard and child-resistant caps, and protect the pumps on creams and lotions. Shrink sleeves and neckbands keep the cap area clean and assure product integrity.

PDC shrink equipment is widely used on twin-pack or multi-packed products and is compatible with advanced graphics, as well as special offer information and UPC codes.

PDC equipment is ideally suited to applications where secure, tamper evident sealing must be combined with the highest quality graphics for shelf appeal. Systems are engineered for production lines that involve high speeds, high uptime performance, and quick changeovers.

With extensive experience and installation base across the Americas and Europe, we are a leading resource for quality shrink equipment, and welcome the opportunity to assist with prototyping, film recommendations, and suggestions on package design.
