Neckbanders
PDC Neckbanders (or "Shrinkbanders") apply heat-shrinkable tamper-evident neckbands to juice, water, tea, yogurt beverages and sports drinks.

PDC Neckbanders are the fastest machines in their class, banding at speeds up to 1000 cpm. Engineered for 24/7 service, with continuous material web flow that doesn’t pause for cutting, PDC neckbanders machines apply, with exceptional precision and repeatability, 1-3” diameter bands at heights up to 2.375”. This makes them well-suited to a very broad range of consumer packaged goods.

Neckbanders are single-headed, in-line systems that are production-proven, highly ergonomic, and easy to use. Systems can be supplied with a “splice-on-the-fly” accumulator unwind stand that eliminates the downtime traditionally required for roll changes. Changing from one product to the next is quick and efficient, thanks to PDC’s tool-less changeover feature.

Shrinklabelers
Full-package Shrink sleeves wrap and conform to a container's every curve, enabling complete decoration of unusual shapes – from top to bottom and 360 degrees. This allows package designers to create powerful brand identities, and maximizes the space for graphics, text and images in addition to ingredients, UPC codes and nutritional information.

The PDC Shrinklabelers were engineered for high speed beverage lines that demand, high performance, with quick changeover.

PDC Neckbanders and full-package shrinklabelers apply thin gauge (1.5 to 2 mils, 40 to 50 micron) banding materials, and are compatible with all petroleum-based and sustainable films, including PVC, PET, PETG, OPS and PLA films.

Like all PDC packaging systems, PDC Neckbanders and Shrinklabelers use standard, readily available components. PDC manufactures a broad range of stand-alone neckbanders, in addition to inline systems which can also be added as modules on labeling machinery.

PDC R Series Neckbanders and Shrinklabelers are available in all stainless steel NEMA-4X construction for wet and wash-down environments.
